Make Your Own Tooth Powder to Remove Teeth Stains

I already mentioned that teeth stain is disturbing in my previous post, right? It must be nice to have white teeth, in every aspect. But unfortunately, if you smoke, drinking coffee or tea, you’ll have that stain if you didn’t take care of it carefully.

One of the best ways to keep your teeth clean is by cleaning/brushing it intensively. Maybe with whitening tooth brush, or even go to dentist if you have thick wallet.

However, I found this great article and I think it’ll be useful. It’ll be a good cheap alternative to teeth whitening powder. So, here are the ingredients and instructions:

Ingredients:
2 Tbsp dried lemon or orange rind
1/4 cup baking soda
2 Tsp salt

Directions:
Place rinds in food processor, grind until peel becomes a fine powder. Add baking soda and salt then process a few seconds more until you have a fine powder. Store in an airtight tin or jar. Dip moistened toothbrush into mixture, brush as usual.

I haven’t tried it myself though, I just want to share this information to you who might be interested to remove your teeth stain. Well, I hope this will be useful :)

erm, I personally wouldn’t include the lemon or orange elements to this as I’ve heard that these can dissolve tooth enamel. Every month I use bicaronate of soda, giving a lightly moistened lump of it a good rub into dryish teeth surface and crevices, leaving it a minute or two to get to work then rubbing it with fingertip and nails to actual clean off the stains (I disgustingly use the back end of a wooden match to rub between the teeth). Then I finish off with a light cleaning with my non-flouride toothpaste and electric toothbrush. This works an absolute treat. I’ve not tried it with salt yet, I might give that a go – but I don’t want too much abrasion on the enamel, so I’m a bit hesitant.

By the way…. The flouride they put in toothpaste and water supplies is not the natural sort, but is an umbrella term for a group of industrial waste compounds (from aluminium production for example). It is a toxin and was used historically in concentration camps to keep the population docile and compliant. It can also cause cancer and actually weaken bones and teeth. Sadly the dentists are as compartmentalised as the public and they just believe what the authorities tell them.
